I’m Cailin Burnside Wands, an author based in Central New York. My writing brings together a love of history, a Christian faith, and a curiosity about the lives behind the names we encounter in books and family records.
With a master’s degree in history, a bachelor’s degree in religious education, and more than three decades in nursing, I bring an interest in both the past and the human experience to my work.
Beyond the page, I share Scottish history at Highland games and Celtic festivals. Whether I’m researching medieval women or following a family’s journey through early America, I’m always looking for the story waiting to be told.
